Former Pakistani military leader Pervez Musharraf said that India shouldn’t provide asylum to Baloch leader Brahamdagh Bugti because he’s a terrorist.

“I totally condemn it, he shouldn’t be given any asylum. He’s a terrorist. You can’t demand that your terrorists are our terrorists but our terrorists are not your terrorists,” Musharraf told CNN IBN.

Brahamdagh Bugti approached the Permanent Mission of India in Geneva for filing asylum papers on Tuesday.

Speaking to the media, Bugti said, “People are frustrated in Balochistan except for those who have been threatened and bribed to agree with the government.”

Accusing India of pinning all blame on Pakistan for terrorists attacks, Musharraf said, “You call off non-state actors operating in Kashmir but here in Balochistan it’s state actors. We don’t talk about what India is doing to Pakistan but what Pakistan is doing to terrorists.”
