Muslims should go to Bangladesh or Pakistan; no place for them in India, says Vinay Katiyar

BJP MP Vinay Katiyar on Wednesday demanded that those who do not respect Vande Mataram, insult the national flag, and hoist the Pakistani flag be punished. 

This comes shortly after AIMIM President Asaduddin Owaisi demanded in Lok Sabha that the Centre bring a law to punish with three-year jail term any person who calls an Indian Muslim a Pakistani.

“There should be a bill that punishes those who do not respect Vande Matram, those who insult the national flag, those who hoist the Pakistani flag, they should be punished,” said Katiyar.

“Doosri baat ye hai, Musalman iss desh mein rehna hi nahi chahye, unhone jansankhya ke aadhaar par desh ka batwara kardia toh iss desh mein rehne ki kya avashyakta thi? Unko alag bhu-bhaag de dia gaya, Bangladesh ya Pakistan jaayen yahan kya kaam hai unka? (In fact, Muslims have no place in India because they have already partitioned the country as per their population. So now they don’t need to live here because they have already got land for themselves. They should go to Bangladesh or Pakistan), said the BJP MP.
