Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) sleuths on Saturday arrested four students of Delhi University and Jawaharlal Nehru University for allegedly pedaling drugs at college campuses in Delhi and National Capital Region.
NCB sleuths have recovered around 1.14 kilograms of charas and three LSD (Lysergic acid Diethylamide) blot papers that were supposedly to be supplied to students during New Year celebrations in Delhi-NCR college campuses.
The agency acting on a tip off on December 28 raided several places and arrested the four students studying in various courses in premier institutes of Delhi and NCR. Officials told the media that the seized LSD blot papers were to be couried to Jaipur.
NCB’s Delhi zonal unit has arrested the four under the provisions of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act (NDPS). The arrested students have been identified as Anirudh Mathur, Tenzin Phunchog, Sam Mallick and Gaurav Kumar.
