Prime Minister Narendra Modi is all set to address the G7 summit highlighting the climate crisis and other issues shortly. Kashmir will be the top agenda during PM Modi meeting with US President Donald Trump later today. Earlier, PM Modi had a "good" meeting with his British counterpart Boris Johnson on Sunday and the two leaders discussed ways to further cement bilateral ties in trade, defence and innovation. Modi met Johnson on the sidelines of the G-7 Summit being held in this southwestern French city. The prime minister arrived in Biarritz from Manama, the capital of Bahrain, after concluding the first-ever prime ministerial visit to the Gulf nation. "We had a great meeting Prime Minister Boris Johnson, where we got to discuss ways to further cement ties in trade, defence, and innovation. India and United Kingdom relations are robust this benefits our citizens greatly," Prime Minister Modi said in a tweet.

3:26 pm: Meanwhile, US President Donald Trump said Monday that he had agreed to the Iranian foreign minister flying in for a G7 summit and insisted he was not seeking regime change in Tehran -- a change of tone that could lower tensions. Mohammad Javad Zarif made a surprise appearance at the summit in Biarritz on Sunday for talks with French President Emmanuel Macron, who is seeking to broker a deal between Iran and the United States. Zarif also met with French and other European diplomats, but Trump said it was "too soon" for him to meet Zarif.

3:20 pm: India has categorically told the international community that the scrapping of Article 370 was an internal matter and also advised Pakistan to accept the reality. 

3:19 pm: But all eyes will be on Modi-Trump meeting. Tensions between India and Pakistan spiked after India abrogated provisions of Article 370 of the Constitution to withdraw Jammu and Kashmir's special status and bifurcated it into two Union Territories, evoking strong reactions from Pakistan.
