The survey conducted on the ‘Narendra Modi Mobile App’ about the government’s decision of demonetising Rs 500 and Rs 1000 currency notes has seen a great response. In about 100 hours since the launch of survey, about ten lakh people participated in the survey.
92 per cent of people participating in the survey have supported the government’s move to demonetise the high denomination currency notes.
About 91 per cent have the views that they don’t mind the inconvenience caused by the demonetisation move. They think that it is for the sake of fighting corruption and black money.
States like West Bengal, Odisha, Bihar, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Jammu and Kashmir and Uttar Pradesh are above the national average when it comes to supporting the move of demonetisation.
