Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s wax statue will soon be unveiled at Madame Tussauds in London in April. Being one of the most influential leaders in the world Narendra Modi will soon be immortalized in wax. His wax statue will be unveiled in April. From skin tone, teeth, features, stance to everything the measurements are accurately taken in order to attain perfection. The figure will be dressed in his signature Kurta in cream with jacket and PM Modi will be featured in a traditional pose making a ‘namaste’ gesture.

Earlier in 2016, PM Modi had given a sitting to Madame Tussauds' artists in NewDelhi for measurements and other details required for his wax statue. Leaders of prominent ranks find their statues in the Tussauds museum for their fame, excellence and prominence. The museum also described PM Modi as ‘a hugely important figure in world politics.’

“Madame Tussauds has crafted figures of very distinguished dignitaries from around the world - how could I regard myself worthy of being alongside them? But when I was informed that your decision had emanated from public opinion and public sentiment, I was comforted,” PM Modi said in a statement to the museum.

Other Indian dignitaries and  famous celebrities from India whose wax statues have been installed in tussauds are Amitabh Bachchan, Madhuri Dixit, Salman Khan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Katrina Kaif. Many other world famous personalities like US President Barack Obama, British Prime Minister David Cameron, South Africal anti-apartheid revolutionary Nelson Mandela also have their wax statues.
