National Girl Child Day: PM Narendra Modi lauds girl child achievements

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the occasion of National Girl Child Day on Tuesday took to twitter handle and said "National Girl Child Day is a day to celebrate the exceptional achievements of the girl child, whose "excellence in many fields makes us proud".

National Girl Child Day is celebrated on Jan 24 every year across India to raise awareness and consciousness of the society with regard to the girl child Since 2008 by the Indian Government.
