NDA passes resolution to contest Lok Sabha 2019 polls under PM Modi’s leadership

TDP president Chandra Babu Naidu said people have shown their trust in Modi government. He said none of the previous government has promoted ‘Brand India’, but Prime Minister has done it.

A resolution was passed on Monday during NDA meet which was held at Pravasi Bhartiya Kendra in Delhi. All 32 parties were present in the meeting.

While addressing a press conference, Senior BJP leader and union finance minister Arun Jaitley said a resolution has been passed where all parties have unanimously decided to contest 2019 Lok Sabha polls under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.  This was NDA’s second meet, he said.

During the meet, the recently concluded assembly elections results and Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s popularity were also discussed, he informed.

Jaitley further added that the NDA has given a corruption free government.

Naidu said NDA had got a corrupt government from predecessors, but they have improved in last three years. Naidu also hailed demonetisation move. He said the issue of infrastructure was also discussed in the meeting.

It was expected that the NDA leaders would discuss presidential polls, but the leaders did not discuss the matter during press conference.
