Neelum Sharma, DD News anchor, has passed away, announced the national news channel on Saturday. Sharma was conferred with Nari Shakti Puraskar 2018 and had worked with DD News for more than 20 years. She anchored programmes like Badi Charcha, Tejasvini, and has inspired thousands of journalists with her work on Doordarshan. She was battling cancer.
