NEET PG 2017: Counselling, registration and choice locking commences; Here's all you need to know

The list of all the candidates who have undertaken NEET-PG 2017 along with their score obtained has already been shared with the respective State Governments/UT for further necessary action at their end.

NEET PG 2017: Counselling, registration and choice locking commences; Here's all you need to know

Main counseling registration, choice filing & indicative seat allotment has commenced for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) on Medical Counselling Committee’s (MCC) website. The registration facility will be available from March 14, 2017 (10:00 AM) to March 19, 2017(5:00 PM) only and will remain valid for both rounds (Round-1 and 2) of counseling. 

Candidates should however take note of the fact that they will not be able to register after March 19, 2017.The duration for exercising choices (once registration is done) is from March 14 to March 20, 2017. Further, seats will be allotted for Round 1 on March 21 to March 22. The results for round 1 will be published on March 23, 2017.

Reporting at the allotted Medical/Dental College against 1st round will be from March 24 to April 3, 2017. The aspirants will be able to lock their choices  for Round 2 from April 21 to April 23, 2017. Candidates should also however keep in touch with MCC website (www.mcc.nic.in) and Ministry of Health & Family Welfare website (www.mohfw.nic.in) for information regarding Post Graduate admission process, counseling schedule, instructions etc.

Moreover, the counselling for admission to State Quota seats will be conducted by the concerned States/UT whereas the counselling for All India 50% Quota seats will be conducted by Medical Counseling Committee.
