News Nation has accessed the dossier India sent to Pakistan on Jaish-e-Mohammad and its chief Masood Azhar. The dossier, which proves the JeM hand in Pulwama attack, has all the information related to the terrorist organisation, its activities and training process. The dossier also included a video of JeM terrorists’ training at Balakot camp, which was destroyed by the Indian Air Force during the February 26 air strikes. The dossier also has specific information about JeM'c rallies and religious congregations held "right under the nose of the Pakistan government" to recruit terrorists by instigating them against India.

"On February 20, 2018, JeM concluded a six-day congregation in Lahore when its 'Shoba-e-Taaruf' (Department of Introduction) delegation held 13 interactive sessions in which 700 people, including 65 'Ulemas' (Religious Scholars), participated. During these interactions, around 30 people expressed their desire to take part in JeM training course — Daura-e-Tarbia. The participants showered praise on organizational activities of JeM and the role played by its chief Masood Azhar," the dossier said.


The dossier also has specific information about the Balakot camp, which was targeted by the Indian Air Force during its strike last month. India presented in-depth details about the camp, its locality, infrastructure, training methods and schedule. According to the dossier, JeM man undergoing a set routine at the Balakot training center and their day start as early as at 3 am. They read Namaaz at 5 am and do physical exercise for one and half hour which starts at 6 am. They have breakfast at 8:30 am. Thier classes on arms and ammunition start at 9 am and go till 12:30 when they go for lunch.

The courses which are taught to JeM terrorists at its training centers are also mentioned in the dossier. The JeM offers several religious and Jihadi courses to prepare its men for the acts of terror, including suicide attacks. "Daura-e-Tafseer", which roughly translates to the interpretation of the Quran, is a special course under which the selected suicide attackers are imparted extensive preaching of Quran.

After completing basic religious and jihadi courses, the selected cadres undergo rigorous armed training for eight months to one year. Apart from basic training in weapon handling, jungle survival, ambush, communication, GPS, MAP reading, the cadres are also imparted with other specialised training in swimming, sword fighting, horse-riding etc.
