Modi In Russia: PM To Take Part In Eastern Economic Forum Today

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will take part in the fifth meeting of the Eastern Economic Forum (EEF) on Thursday on the second day of his two-day visit to Russia. Before the forum, PM Modi met his Japanese counterpart Shinzo Abe on Thursday. Rajnath Singh Sends Veiled Warning To Pakistan

Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, who is currently visiting South Korea, on Thursday warned Pakistan over Kashmir. Without taking Pakistan’s name, Singh warned that India’s defence forces are capable of protecting as well as thwarting any evil plan. “India has never been an aggressor in its history nor will it ever be. 23 Killed After Massive Explosion At Firecracker Factory In Punjab's Gurdaspur

Twenty-three people were killed while 27 injured in a blast at a firecracker factory in Batala of Gurdaspur district on Wednesday, an official said. Several people were feared trapped under the debris, police said, adding that the rescue operation was underway.
