IIT Kanpur starts audio, text services of Bhagwad Gita, 9 other Hindu sacred texts on its portal

Indian Institute of Technology-IIT, Kanpur, has become the first engineering college in the country to start an audio and text service related to Srimad Bhagwat Gita and nine other Hindu sacred texts.

The premiere institute has uploaded audio and text of Srimad Bhagwad Gita, Ramcharit Manas, Brahma Sutra, Yoga Sutra, Shri Ram Mangal Dasji and the Narada Bhakti Sutra on its official website.

IIT Kanpur’s Resource Centre for Indian Language Technology Solutions, Professor TV Prabhakar said, "This is the first of its kind in the world and in India and it must be respected.”
