Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar has rewarded electoral strategist Prasant Kishor by appointing him as his adviser, reports said on Friday. Kishor is the man who was behind the Bihar CM’s win in the assembly polls.
38-year-old Kishor has been given the rank of a Cabinet minister and he will advice the CM on development policies and their implementation.
According to sources, the appointment was done late Thursday night.
Kihor is referred to as the “man of technology and strategy” in grand alliance circles. Kishor has worked with Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the 2014 parliamentary elections, prior to his success in Bihar.
The ruling parties in West Bengal and Assam, where elections will take place later this year, have also approached Kishor.
