New Delhi:
On the ongoing feud in Samajwadi Party, Mulayam Singh Yadav on Monday said that there is no question of split in party. He stressed that the party is one and soon they are going to start their election campaign together. Mulayam also said that Akhilesh will be Chief Minister after the elections.
This statement came at the time when Election Commission is soon expected to give a decision on the party symbol and title in favour of Akhilesh Yadav or Mulayam Singh Yadav. There were also reports that Mulayam Singh Yadav may just introduce a new face for chief ministerial candidate – Azam Khan.
Earlier, Samajwadi Pariwar’s last battle had reached its climax on Monday with both factions fighting for party symbol at the Election Commission. On one hand, where current Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav’s camp claimed that he had the support of 90 per cent of his party members, his father Mulayam Singh Yadav was also still very much in the game.
