The Noida Authority achieved another feat when it has completed the construction of Nari Niketan Building which started on the March, 2014 and scheduled to be finished on September 2016, but will be completed by 31 May, 2016.
The building is located at sector 34, Noida which costs Rs 583.77 lakhs. The cost of the project is 583.77 Lakhs. The size of the facility is 3540 sq. meter. The building will consist of 3 floors and a basement. The size of the basement, ground floor, first floor and the second floor will be 767.35 sq. meter.
The ground floor will have various facilities such as a dining hall, a recreation room/ TV room, 2 bed rooms, living room, a warden office and room, kitchen, a juvenile board, store, fire control room, CCTV room, entrance lobby, toilet block (male/female), a counseling room and more. The First floor would consist of 3 dormitories, a library, a workshop, first-aid room, 2 class rooms and a toilet block. The second will have 6 dormitories, 3 toilet blocks, a recreation room/TV room and a house keeping store. “The facility will house 50 women and 50 juveniles” said Rama Raman, CEO of Noida Authority.
This will be first Nari Niketan and juvenile correction facility in Noida. The facility will be functional by this April. It aims to house homeless women, widowed women, women under in danger, unmarried mothers and women is all kinds of crisis who need a stable home to live in. It will also house children, both boys and girls.
