Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh ideologue and columnist Rakesh Sinha, who was recently nominated to the Rajya Sabha by President Ram Nath Kovind, has joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), news agency ANI reported on Monday.
Sinha, a professor at the Motilal Nehru College of the Delhi University and the founder and honorary director of the Delhi-based think-tank India Policy Foundation, was nominated by President Ram Nath Kovind to Rajya Sabha on July 14.
He is also a member of the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR) and appears in several TV debates to support the RSS and its ideology of Hindutva.
