Mumbai's Andheri court on Saturday issued non-bailable arrest warrant against Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt over alleged threat to filmmaker Shakil Noorani. The case has been long pending in court and summons were issued by the court against Dutt earlier too.
The matter dates back to 2002 when Noorani had signed Dutt for his multi-starrer film 'Jaan Ki Baazi'. Sanjay Dutt had done shooting for the film but left mid-way, following which Noorani had to bear a loss of Rs 5 crore.
When Noorani attempted to contact Dutt several times, Dutt allegedly threatened to kill the former. Noorani allegedly received death threats from under-world as well.
In 2013, a Mumbai court had issued a non-bailable arrest warrant against Sanjay Dutt for non-appearance in case of alleged threat to Noorani.
