In Manipur, the water level of major rivers continued a declining trend and normal life was gradually coming back as flood water was receding in most of the affected areas, officials said.

However, the officials said that several localities in the five districts of Imphal valley, mostly at Wabagai area of Thoubal district, were still under knee-deep water.
