Odd-Even Scheme: One MP rides horse, other opts cycle to Parliament

Weird scenes were witnessed outside Parliament in Delhi as some of the lawmakers took unique ways to reach their way to workplace. Amusingly, BJP MP Ram Prasad Sharma came to the Parliament riding a horse. The MP was his protesting against the odd-even scheme implemented by the AAP-led government in Delhi. He labelled the horse as a ‘pollution free vehicle’.

Weird scenes were witnessed outside Parliament in Delhi as some of the lawmakers took unique commuting to reach Loksabha. Amusingly, BJP MP Ram Prasad Sharma came to the Parliament riding a horse. The MP was his protesting against the odd-even scheme implemented by the AAP-led government in Delhi. He labelled the horse as a ‘pollution free vehicle’.

However, contrary to him, MP Manoj Tiwary took adhered to the rule came to Parliament riding a bicycle.

“I am following the odd-even rule. My car is even numbered, and since today is odd day I have come like this...I am not saying that this should become a tradition, but those who are interested can come like this,” Tiwari was quoted saying by ANI.

Many MPs have earlier demanded an exemption from the odd-even scheme saying that it disrupts their work.

Now, the MPs are adopting these unique ways of protest and support for the scheme.
