Reliance Jio’s Happy new year offer which allowed its users access to free calls and high speed internet will expire on 31st March. Jio who made a formidable entry into Indian telecom market last year by giving free data and calling services to its users. For which, Jio has achieved a huge 100 million subscriber’s base within a year. But the freebies of Jio is going to end soon as the telco in January has cleared that the services of Jio will no longer be free after March 31. After that, Jio users will have to opt for another 'Prime membership' to get cheaper data.
So, If you are a Reliance Jio user and haven’t yet signed up for the Prime membership do it now because March 31 is the deadline (that’s tomorrow), after which you can’t become a Reliance Jio Prime member.
Benefits of Jio Prime Membership: The Rs 303 Jio Prime plan offers unlimited free voice calls, free unlimited SMS, access to Jio apps with a validity of 28 days. While data is also unlimited, users will receive 4G speeds for 28GB data only, after which the speed will slow down. Also, there is a daily FUP of 1GB. This means you will get 4G speeds for 1GB data consumption daily only for 28 days with the Rs 303 Jio Prime plan.
But what if you don’t subscribe to it!!!
Your Data Party will come to an end: Not purchasing the Jio Prime doesn’t mean your connection will stop working. It’s just that the current ‘data party’ will come to an end. The regular data packs (non-Prime) from Jio offer too little data at the same price as the Prime options.
Jio Prime membership will be active till March 31, 2018. After the Rs 99 Jio Prime recharge, you will get options like Rs 303 which offer 1GB per day, valid for 28 days, Rs 499 which has 2GB data per day, which is also valid for 28 days.
