Earlier on Tuesday, questioning the motive behind the currency ban move, Rahul said that the Prime Minister is answerable to the nation.
“PM should answer the nation, that what was the real motive of demonetisation and what will he do for those affected by it. PM should answer the nation, that what was the real motive of demonetisation and what will he do for those affected by it,” said Rahul.
Mamata too criticised the notes ban move as she called it a mega scam and a biggest one after independence.
