Karni Sena chief Lokendra Singh Kalvi on Monday announced that he is willing to watch Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s film ‘Padmaavat’, ahead of its release on January 25.
“I am willing to watch the film along with other members of the group. The Padmaavat’s director offered him to watch the movie," said Kalvi.
“We have received a letter from Bhansali, requesting us to watch the movie,” said Kalvi.
He further added, “We will decide who watches the film in order to approve its release. The Censor Board made three people watch the movie. We will watch the movie along with journalists.”

Karni Sena, a fringe group spearheading the protests against Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s film — Padmavaat, has refused to back down even after Supreme Court’s direction to showcase the movie in the states that had banned its release earlier.
Padmaavat stars Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and Shahid Kapoor in lead roles and slated to release on January 25.
