Rajput Karni Sena chief Lokendra Singh Kalvi claimed that he or his group had no role in the Gurugram school bus attack and accused Sanjay Leela Bhansali —- the maker of Padmaavat —- and his team for the heinous act.

“Padmaavat team is trying malign our image. We are ready to face any kind of probe be it judicial or CBI. The attack was engineered by Bhansali and his associates,” said Kalvi.

The Karni Sena leader also added that the or any of the group’s member can never think of attacking seet-looking kids. Asserting his point Kalvi said, “A Rajput or HIndu can never make such an attack as our religion never teaches us to do such cowardly act.”

He added, “24 hours after the incident Delhi Police in its probe too had said the attack on school bus was not carried out by Karni Sena. It was done to trigger caste violence.”
