A day after National Commission for Women (NCW) directed Haryana Police to investigate BJP leader’s bounty offer to behead Padmavati director Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Deepika Padukone, the state BJP chief media coordinator Suraj Pal Amu on Tuesday issued a new threat to torch all cinema houses across the country.
Amu said, “The youth and warrior caste of this country have the strength to set every cinema on fire.”
The Haryana BJP chief media coordinator on Sunday had ridiculed Prime Minister Narendra Modi over the Padmavati row.
He had also congratulated Meerut youth for announcing Rs 5 crore bounty for beheading Deepika and Bhansali and then had said, “We will reward the ones beheading them, with Rs 10 crore, and also take care of their family's needs.”
Amu then had announced to quit the saffron party if action is not taken against the Padmavati makers.
