Pakistan-backed Khalistani and PoK supporters pulled down and burnt the Indian National Flag in Central London in the presence of London Metropolitan Police as Prime Minister Narendra Modi was addressing the Indian community at Westminster on Wednesday.
A video making rounds on the social media shows Pakistan-backed PoK and Khalistani supporters, who now live in London, pulling down the Indian National Flag from one of the official flag-poles set up for all 53 Commonwealth countries and replacing it with a PoK-Khalistan flag.
Soon after the incident, a video was uploaded on a non-verified account of a Khalistan supporter with Twitter handle Khalistan Zindabad. A tweet by the handle read, “The Indian Flag Was Taken Off, Shredded And Burnt, In Joint Efforts By Khalistani’s and Kashmiri’s, The Khalistan Flag Was Raised High.â€
The official further said that the British authorities had responded to the concern raised and sought apology for the failure of its police from preventing the pulling down of the Indian National Flag.

British authorities have pulled down the PoK-Khalistan flag and replaced it with the Indian National Flag after Indian officials raised the issue with democrats of UK.
Indians staying in London have also expressed their annoyance over the incidence. A few Indian activists reminded the Metropolitan Police words of former US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton where she had said that Pakistan was harbouring snakes in its backyard a grave warning to UK authorities.
