BJP national spokesperson Shahnawaz Hussain on Tuesday said Pakistan should be ready for a “tough reaction” from India if it executes Indian Navy former officer Kulbhushan Jadhav, given death penalty by its military court.

“Pakistan has no right to punish and give death sentence to Indian national Kulbhusan Jadhav. And if Pakistan goes ahead with this decision it should also get ready for a tough reaction from India,” Hussain told reporters.

Earlier on Tuesday, India warned Pakistan that execution of the death sentence handed down to Kulbhushan Jadhav by a military court on Monday would be taken as “pre-meditated murder” and Islamabad should consider its consequences on bilateral relations.
