Pakistani forces violated ceasefire at three points along the Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir during night between Wednesday and Thursday. However there was no loss or damage to India side on any site.
Late on Wednesday night, Pakistan attacked the BSF camp in Bebiya. The BSF troops retaliated. According to reports, the BSF suspects infiltration attempt.
At least six intruders were hiding in bushes, waiting for a chance to infiltrate. Pak troops opened fire to give them cover for crossing the border, but BSF jawans immediately returned the fire, forcing intruders to flee back to Pak side, BSF officials said.
In another sector, Pakistan fired 25 rounds of small weapons and 2 small mortars at International Border in Hiranagar sector of Kathua, BSF retaliated. The cross fire continued for almost 3.30 minutes.
The site of most frequent ceasefire violation, the BG sector of Rajouri also witnessed similar situation on Wednesday night.
