Panchkula District Court on Friday sent Honeypreet Insan and her accomplice Sukhdeep Kaur to judicial custody till 23rd October.

It was reported that Honeypreet Insan and her accomplice Sukhdeep Kaur will be sent to Ambala Jail for judicial custody till 23rd October.

Police informed the District court, Panchkula that a mobile had been recovered from Honeypreet Insan and no laptop was recovered from her.

Earlier on Tuesday, Panchkula court sent Honeypreet Insan and Sukhdeep Kaur to three-day police remand.

During the investigation, Haryana police claimed that Honeypreet was not cooperating in the interrogation.

Panchkula Police Commissioner A S Chawla has said that Honeypreet is missleading the police.

As per sources, Honeypreet Insan has been asked approximately 300 questions but none of them were answered properly by her. She had been accused of changing her statements frequently because of which she has been taken to an undisclosed location on Saturday for further interrogation.

Haryana Police had arrested Dera chief Gurmeet Singh’s 'adopted daughter' from Zirakpur, around 25 kilometers from Haryana-Punjab capital Chandigarh. Haryana Police working on intelligence inputs made raids and arrested Honeypreet from her hideout in Zirakpur, an adjoining city to Panchkula.

Honeypreet has been charged with sedition by Haryana government for allegedly inciting violence after a Panchkula CBI court held Dera chief Gurmeet Singh guilty in a rape case.
