The 13th day of Parliament’s Monsoon session opened on a stormy note after the early morning raids on Karnataka Energy Minister D K Shivakumar’s residence and Eagleton Golf Resort where 44 Gujarat MLAs are staying.
Congress Leader Anand Sharma and Ghulam Nabi Azad raised the issue of Bengaluru raids. COngress accusing BJP of indulging in a witch hunt and the timing of the raids on Shivakumar is no coincidence.
Also a number of bills will be tabled in Lok Sabha which include the Banking Regulation (Amendment) Bill, 2017, The Integrated Good and Services Tax (Extension to Jammu and Kashmir) Bill, 2017, The Punjab Municipal Corporation Law (Extension to Chandigarh) Amendment Bill, 2017 and The Central Goods and Services Tax (Extension to Jammu and Kashmir) Bill.
