The family of martyred Kulwant Singh, who lost his life during Pathankot attack, manhandled by an agent and his friends who denied to return their Rs 5 lakh.

He was one of the martyrs who was killed during the gunfire while fighting for the country. Kulwant Singh was from Gurdaspur.

Pathankot attack happened when heavily-armed Pakistani terrorists attempted to storm the Air Force base, triggering a day-long gunbattle in which six securitymen and all the four infiltrators were killed, days after Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s surprise stopover in Lahore.

With the obvious intention of destroying fighter jets and attack helicopters housed there, the group of terrorists in army fatigues attempted to storm the base which is barely 35 kms from the international border with Pakistan but failed to go beyond the outer periphery.
