Nearly 100 people died and more than 100 were injured as 14 coaches of Patna Indore express got derailed near Kanpur Raval Kanpur rural at around 3:00 A.M. on Sunday.
The tragedy has led to diversion and cancellation of various trains whereas the injured have been rushed to hospitals. Further, rescue and relief operations are underway to provide all sorts of help to the injured. In view of the accident, the Railway Ministry has issued various helpline numbers for assistance.

Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu has said that Railway, district, state and NDRF teams are doing their best to help the passengers in distress. Further, he has claimed that enquiry has been initiated into the accident and all sorts of relief and assitance is being offered to the passengers.
