People are jealous of Baba Ramdev, says yoga guru's 'new fan' Lalu Yadav

RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav seems to have become a new fan of yoga guru Baba Ramdev, who has attacked the politician several times in the past. The former Chief Minister of Bihar met Baba Ramdev in Delhi on Wednesday. ''People are jealous of Baba Ramdev because he is highly successful,'' said Lalu.

''His products are in demand and he is doing good for the country,” he said praising the yoga guru. Holding a joint conference with Baba Ramdev, the veteran Bihar leader said what Ramdev earns, he spends on charity.

''He has earned everything through sheer hard work,'' he said. When asked by reporters whether he will promote Baba Ramdev's products, Lalu jokingly said, ''I am a permanent brand ambassador of his products.''

Ramdev said he has invited Lalu to attend the International Yoga Day celebrations. He also gifted several products of Patanjali Ayurved to Lalu. He also tweeted a picture of his meeting with Lalu.
