In a shocking incident, an unidentified miscreant on Sunday hurled country-made petrol bomb at AIADMK rebel leader TTV Dhinakaran’s car, parked outside his residence in Chennai.
"Chennai: Country made petrol bomb hurled at TTV Dhinakaran's car by an unidentified miscreant," the news agency ANI reported.
However, the AIADMK leader was not in the car during the incident, which left three injured, including his driver and personal photographer.
The car, a grey-colour Toyota Fortuner, was partially damaged in the attack and the broken pieces of the rear windshield were seen splattered on the road.

Though police are yet to ascertain the name of the culprit, expelled party worker Bullet Parimalam currently tops the prime suspects' list.
The attack came on the heels of an alleged conflict within the party. Speculations had been also rife that Dhinakaran is gearing up to form his own party ever since he broke away from the ruling AIADMK in December 2017.
Last year, Dhinakaran also took part in the RK Nagar bypoll and secured a massive victory from the seat previously held by J Jayalalithaa.
