India Snubs Turkey: PM Modi Cancels Ankara Visit After Erdogan's Kashmir Remarks

Indian government has decided to call off a proposed visit by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Turkey's capital Ankara. The visit was expected to take place at the end of October. According to sources, PM Modi was slated to visit the country following his visit to Saudi Arabia, where he is going to attend a mega-investment summit on October 27-28. Pakistan Violates Ceasefire, Two Soldiers, Civilian Killed In Jammu and Kashmir's Kupwara

Two soldiers and a civilian were killed as Pakistani troops violated the ceasefire in Tanghar sector of Jammu and Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Sunday, police said. Three civilians were also injured in the firing by Pakistani troops, they said. Two houses were damaged in the incident. Read more…

Delhi In Danger This Diwali Season, More Than 400 Places Under Terror Attack Threat

Terrorist organisation Jaish-e-Mohammed is trying to target Delhi with a big terror incident in the national capital during the festive season. According to intelligence inputs, more than 400 sensitive buildings and markets in Delhi are on JeM's target list. Security has been beefed up in the national capital after getting the intelligence input. Delhi has been put on alert ahead of Diwali and other festivals. According to a highly placed source in Delhi police, Eight of fifteen districts in Delhi are considered sensitive. These are Rohini, North-East, North-West, North, East, Central, New Delhi, and Dwarka. Syria Crisis: Turkey Denies Blocking Retreat Of Kurdish Forces From Proposed ‘Safe Zone’

Turkey on Saturday denied Kurdish forces’ claim that Ankara is blocking their pullout from a proposed safe zone along the border under a US-brokered agreement. “YPG is disseminating false information to sabotage the Turkey-US agreement. By spreading fake news, YPG terrorists are challenging President (Donald) Trump,” a senior official told news agency AFP. The commander of Kurdish forces in Syria, Mazloum Abdi, earlier Saturday accused Ankara of sabotaging the agreement with Washington by blocking the withdrawal of his forces from a flashpoint border town in northeastern Syria.
