Prime Minister Narendra Modi hit out at the Opposition and hailed his government's achievements in Lok Sabha during his reply to a debate on Motion of Thanks to the President's Address. In his speech during the ongoing Budget session of the parliament, PM Narendra Modi highlighted decisions on Article 370, triple talaq and Ram Janmabhoomi as achievements of his government. He said if his government had worked in the same manner as previous one, these matters would still be a problem.
Talking about the anti-CAA protests, Prime Minister Narendra Modi also accused the Congress and the Left of inciting people at protest sites while making it clear that the Citizenship Act will neither impact any Indian citizen nor harm minority interests.
"I want to clearly state that with the CAA coming, there will be no impact on any citizen of India, practising any faith. CAA does not affect any Indian, it doesn't harm minority interests," he said in his more than 90-minute long reply.
Slamming former Jammu and Kashmir chief ministers Mehbooba Mufti and Omar Abdullah for their remarks on abrogation of Article 370, Modi said Kashmir's identity was buried on January 19, 1990, when Kashmiri Pandits started leaving the Valley due to militancy.

On CAA: "I want to clearly state- with the CAA coming, there will be no impact on any citizen of India, practising any faith"
On Nehru: "Pandit Nehru himself was in favour of protecting minorities in Pakistan, I want to ask Congress, was Pandit Nehru communal? Did he want a Hindu Rashtra?"
On Sikh Riots: "You did not send those who are accused in the anti-Sikh riots to jails. Not just that, you also made someone who has allegations of instigating anti-Sikh riots, a Chief Minister."
On Congress: "Those who have been removed from office by the people of India are now doing the unthinkable. They see citizens on the basis of their faith. We are different. We see everyone as an Indian"

On Rahul Gandhi: "I heard an Opposition MP saying- we will beat Modi with sticks in 6 months. I have also decided- will do more Surya Namaskar. This will make my back even stronger to face abuses. In any case, I have been abused so much for the last 2 decades, their negativity hardly matters"
On Rahul Gandhi: "I was speaking for 30-40 minutes now, but the current has reached there now. Some tube lights work like this"
On His Govt: "The people of India saw our work for five years. They once again blessed us, so that we work even faster"
On His Govt: "India can no longer wait for problems to remain unsolved."
On Indian People: "The people of India have not only changed the Sarkar. They want the Sarokar to be changed as well."
On Congress raising 'Mahatma Gandhi ki Jai' chants and saying it was 'just a trailer': "Gandhi ji may be trailer for you, but he is life for us"
Quoting Sarveshwar Dayal Saxena: "Leek par wo chalein jinke charan durbal aur haare hain, humein toh jo hamari yatra se bane, aise anirmit panth pyare hain"
