Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday arrived in Malaysia on the second leg of his five-day three-nation tour. During the Malaysia visit, Modi will meet his newly-elected Malaysian counterpart Mahathir Mohammad in Kuala Lumpur.
Ninety-two-year-old Mahathir sworn in as Malaysia's prime minister on May 10 after leading the opposition alliance to a stunning election victory over the Barisan Nasional (BN) coalition which was in power since 1957.
On the lines of India's Act East Policy, Modi and Mahathir are expected to discuss several bilateral issues and ways to increase trade and investment between the countries.
