Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday met with Saudi Arabia Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman on sidelines of the G20 summit being held in Argentina. The two sides held discussions on enhancing investment in technology, renewable energy and food security.
"Crown Prince informed PM Modi that Saudi will be finalising an initial investment into national infrastructure fund. He referred to future prospects for investment in technology, agricultural and energy sectors. The Prime Minister, in particular stressed upon the importance of having stable energy prices, said Foreign Secretary Vijay Gokhale.
"Had a fruitful interaction with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud. We discussed multiple aspects of India-Saudi Arabia relations and ways to further boost economic, cultural and energy ties," PM Modi wrote on Twitter.

On the sidelines of the two-day 13th G-20 summit, PM Modi is expected to hold meetings with the US President Trump and Japanese Premier Shinzo Abe. White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders said on Thursday the trilateral meeting with PM Modi will be held towards the end of the Trump-Abe talks.
The theme of the G20 summit is 'Building Consensus for a Fair and Sustainable Development.' The Prime Minister said on Tuesday that he would be discussing ways to meet the new and upcoming challenges of the coming decade with world leaders who will gather for the summit. In his departure statement issued in New Delhi, PM Modi said through the 10 years of its existence, the G-20 had strived to promote stable and sustainable global growth.
