Prime Minister Narendra Modi will lead BJP’s mega election campaign for 2019 Lok Sabha elections and address 50 rallies, covering over 100 Lok Sabha constituencies, by February next year.

Apart from Modi, BJP president Amit Shah, Union Ministers Rajnath Singh and Nitin Gadkari will also address 50 rallies each, according to news agency PTI.

The BJP has planned the blitzkrieg to prepare the base for its campaign for general elections scheduled to be held next year. Every rally will cover two to three Lok Sabha constituencies, the agency quoted sources as saying.

“Before the election dates of the Lok Sabha elections are announced, we will already have covered at least 400 Lok Sabha constituencies by organising 200 rallies,” PTI quoted a BJP leader as saying.

Apart from these rallies, Modi will also address several gatherings in poll bound states of Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh, the BJP leader added.

Not just that, Modi’s has already started his election blitzkrieg and his rally in Punjab’s Malout was first of these. Another similar farmers gathering is being planned at Shahjahanpur in Uttar Pradesh this month.
