 PM Narendra Modi to launch second anniversary celebrations at Saharanpur

Marking two years of BJP-led NDA government, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is all set to address a public rally in Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh today. Several senior Cabinet ministers and including BJP president Amit Shah, will also address a series of public meetings in UP. The rally is seen as the unofficial launch of UP election campaign as the state will face polls next year.   

PM Narendra Modi will also visit his Lok Sabha constituency in Varanasi as part of the for the anniversary celebrations. Narendra Modi will be showing his government’s schemes for farmers, especially sugarcane growers, and other achievements in last two years. 

As part of its second anniversary, the BJP will hold meetings and rallies in around 200 places across India from May 26 to June 10 in the name of Vikas Parv. Home Minister Rajnath Singh will visit Patna, Dehradun, Pune and also Pathankot in Punjab.

Union HRD minister Smriti Irani will visit Amethi. Finance Minister Arun Jaitley, External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj and Roads and Surface Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari will also address public meetings in several places across the country.

The Narendra Modi government has seen many Ups and downs in these two years, from intolerance to JNU issue to inflation to stabilizing economy of the country.
