Well-known poet on Saturday said that if someone makes caricature of our parents and prophet to defame them, he too would have done the same thing. Munawwar Rana had said that the caricatures are made to defame Prophet Muhammad and Islam. He argued that if thousand-years of honour killings in India go unnoticed without any punishment, how beheading for blasphemy can be wrong-doing.

He said that whoever made the cartoon of Prophet Mohammad, he did wrong for sure. Munawar Rana added further that PM Modi's regret on France incident was right, but, blaiming only one side for guilty is not acceptable. What happened in France is wrong, but Indian Muslim's protest in India is not a bad thing.
