The BJP leader said that PM Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah were capable of solving all the problems.

New Delhi:

Be it Union Minister Piyush Goyal’s Einstein gaffe or Nirmala Sitharaman blaming the millennial mindset for the slowdown in the auto sector, BJP leaders seem to have developed a unique knack to understand country’s issues beyond popular discourse. In addition, BJP leader Vineet Agarwal Sharda has now claimed to have found the probable cause behind Delhi’s toxic air.

Sharda believes either Pakistan or China has released a poisonous gas to destroy the air quality of Delhi. He also slammed Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal for blaming the stubble burning by Haryana and Punjab farmers for the toxic air in the national capital region.

There is a possibility that this poisonous gas could have been released by any neighbouring country which is afraid of us. I feel that Pakistan or China are afraid of us," BJP leader Vineet Agarwal Sharda told ANI. "We must seriously consider whether Pakistan has released any poisonous gas," he added.

Slamming Kejriwal, he said that farmers are the backbone of the country and they, along with industries, should not be blamed for the high level of air pollution in Delhi.

"People including Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal say pollution is caused by stubble burning or industrial emission. The farmer is the backbone of our country. Farmer and industries should not be blamed," he said.

The BJP leader, however, was of the view that the “Krishna and Arjuna” duo of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah were capable of solving all the problems. This is a time of Krishna and Arjuna. PM Modi as Krishna and Amit Shah as Arjuna together will take care of it," he said.

Meanwhile, Delhi-NCR on Wednesday breathed a sigh of relief with the noticeable dip in the pollution levels after a week-long toxic smog. According to the Central Pollution Control Board, the Air Quality Index of Delhi was recorded at 241 in morning on Wednesday. Localities in Dilshad Garden and Sri Aurobindo Marg areas had the cleanest air. The AQI in both these areas was registered at 184.

Even Anand Vihar breathed relatively clean air with AQI of 281. The worst locality in Delhi in terms of AQI was Bawana, which had pollution level at 305. The improvement of AQI from critical to very poor levels is believed to be due to surface winds and the Odd-Even car rationing scheme. Neighbouring Ghaziabad also had better AQI. Vasundhara recorded lowest AQI at 275.
