Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday vowed that his party will continue its fight against BJP's ideology, alleging that the saffron party is undermining democracy as it did in Manipur and Goa. The Congress vice-president blamed that BJP has used financial power and money in both the states.
While congratulating the BJP, he said polarisation is one of the major reasons of their victory. "BJP won elections in UP, I'd like to congratulate them. Why they won it has multiple reasons, one being polarisation," he said.
Rahul said the congress party won three states while BJP two, but the ruling party in Centre is undermining democracy and they are fighting against such ideologies.
"Out of 5 states, BJP won 2, we won 3. In 2 of the states we won democracy is being undermined by them, using financial power & money," he said.
