An FIR was registered on Tuesday against the in charge of Bhatla police post near here for his alleged role in the murder of one of his junior colleagues, whose body was recovered from a village pond.
The body was spotted by a Water Works employee, Dilbag, last night, after which it was fished out from the pond.
The deceased was identified as Daya Kishan, a native of Kalali village in Bhiwani district, said Sadar Hansi SHO Umed Singh, adding that the victim was lower rung official of Haryana Police and was posted at Bhatla police post.

Singh said the case against Bhatla police post incharge Dharamvir was registered on the complaint of Daya Kishan’s son Sumesh, who alleged that the police post incharge’s hand behind his father death.
The body, found in the pond under mysterious circumstances, has been handed over to the family of the deceased after its autopsy in civil hospital Hansi on Tuesday evening, the SHO said.The investigation is on in the case, but no arrest has been made so far, the SHO added.
