Demonetisation: Police seize Rs 41 lakh in legal currencies in Mumbai

Rs 41 lakh in legal currencies were seized by Mumbai police in Karanja, Mumbai on Friday.Commenting on the incident, DSP Ratnakar Nawale said that during checking the police intercepted 3 cars in which 11 people were travelling from Nagpur to Karanja. The police have seized Rs 41 lakh seized, and arrested 11 people arrested. 

Police and Income Tax have been on vigil after since the demonetised move was announced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on November 8. Efforts to nab the culprits involving into converting of black money into white money.
