As Goa and Punjab polls draw to a close, the focus of political parties has shifted to Uttrakhand and Uttar Pradesh. The political stalwarts are campaigning in Western UP and the hilly Uttarakhand as the two regions go to polls next on February 11 and February 15.
Sunday's itinerary
On last Sunday before voters hit the booth, political parties are going to leave no stone unturned. While SP-Congress alliance stars Akhilesh Yadav and Rahul Gandhi are planning a combined jan sabha in Kanpur, they will also address separate rallies in Alampur (Rahu) and Unnao (Akhilesh).
BJP is going full throttle with the campaign as PM Modi will address rally in Aligarh and Amit Shah will address public meetings in Shyamli.
In Uttarakhand, Congress is planning to launch its manifesto, while BSP chief Mayawati will deliver a speech at an election rally in Udham Singh Nagar at 12noon.
Rajnath Singh will address election meetings at 11:45 AM in Gangolighat, at 2:00 PM in Badshahpur, Hardwar Rural and at 3:30 PM at Bahadrabad.
