TikTok which has become a new addiction to a lot of people across the globe, also brought serious concerns aplenty, especially for youngsters and children. The latest victim of this new age addiction was a 24-year-old Hyderabad man, who drowned in a lake on the city outskirts while taking bath and recording a video of it on mobile app TikTok.

The deceased, identified as Narasimhalu, drowned after he moved deep into the lake while his cousin was recording a video of their bathing on Tuesday evening, according to reports. The victim did not know swimming, a police official said, adding on seeing him struggling, his cousin rushed out of the lake and informed locals, who retrieved the body.

Meanwhile, the video shot before the incident, showing the two men splashing water and dancing, has already gone viral on social media platforms.
