President Pranab Mukherjee confers Padma awards to Dipa Karmakar, Sanjeev Kapoor and others

President Pranab Mukherjee conferred Padma awards to the eminent personalities in recognition of the distinguished contribution in various spheres of activity.

The President awarded Padma Sri to chef Sanjeev Kapoor, Discus Thrower Vikas Gowda, Gymnast Dipa Karmakar and others for their excellence.

The names are announced on January 25, Republic Day every year.
