The students of Jawaharlal Nehru University, led by the JNU Students' Union, blocked the entrances of the administrative block on Wednesday afternoon alleging that the administration has acted in insensitive manner regarding missing first year MSc student Najeeb Ahmed.

However, the president of JNU student council Mohit Pandey has denied the reports of VC being confined. “We have not confined anybody. Instead, we have sent foods for them,” he added.
