The Puducherry government will now train passing graduates from the unioun territory's arts and science colleges to face job interviews by private enterprises and also multi-national companies.
Puducherry Chief Minister V Narayanasamy on Thursday announced the training program for passing graduates while addressing the eighth convocation of Bharathidasan Government College of Women.
Addressing the students Narayanasamy said, “Our intentions is to ensure that Arts and Science Colleges become employable and possess excellent communication skills to successfully face interview boards.”
He added that there is massive demand across the country for the posts of accountants, auditors and other technical positions after the implementation of the Goods and Services.
“The motto of the program is that graduates of Puducherry to emerge successfully in the interviews for the posts in private firms,” added the chief minister.
